Obituary
Mrs. Ida Mae Morgan, 72, of Trumann died Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Mrs. Morgan was born in Jonesboro, Ark. and had live most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a retired employee of Colson Manufacturing Company in Jonesboro and a member of the NEA Baptist Church in Trumann. Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Worthum and Earnestine Willkey; two brothers, T. A. Black and Buddy Black and was the daughter of the late Marshall Edgar and Nancy Elizabeth Pierce Black. She is survived by three daughters, Deborah Mullins of Jonesboro, Nancy (Steve) Mallard of Rogers and Tracy (Kelley)Morgan of Trumann; one sister, Pat Black of Georgia and one brother, Don Black of Jonesboro. 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 1:30 a.m. at the NEA Baptist Church in Trumann with Rev. John Dillinger and Rev. Kenny Guy McMahan officiating. Burial will follow in the Gibson Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark., under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. Active Pallbearers will be Donny Skaggs, Jonathan Skaggs, Jonathan Cobb, Sammie Uddin, Shane Irwin and Danny Panter. Honorary pallbearers will be Kelly Morgan, Tommy Son, Joe Bossert and James Roberts. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. at NEA Baptist Church, 601 N. Willow Road in Trumann.
