Obituary
Mr. William Doyle Clem of Trumann passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 81 after fighting a long battle with cancer. He was born to Eddie and Eula Ladd Clem in Trumann Ark., and lived all of his lifetime in Trumann. Mr. Clem graduated from Central High School in 1952 and attended Trumann Assembly of God regularly until he got sick. He was a born again Christian. Mr. Clem was a veteran of U.S. Army and served in the Korean War and was stationed in Germany as a corporal in anti-aircraft artillery as a tank driver. He loved hunting and loved playing with and spoiling his great-granddaughter Emmy in his spare time. He was a member of the Crowley Ridge Beagle Club, where he served as president field trail secretary and treasurer. He won lots of trophies with his beagles. He worked at the Singer Co. in Trumann when he got out of service. Then he decided to farm with his family and retired in 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents Eddie and Eula Clem and one sister-in-law Hazel Clem.. He is survived by his wife of almost 28 years, Rosie DeLida Clem of the home, two brothers, Aubrey
