Obituary
Mrs. Lessie B. Throgmartin, of Trumann died Monday, July 29, 2013 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 82 years, 8 months and 2 days. She was born Thursday, November 27, 1930 in Hickoria, Ark., and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. Mrs. Throgmartin was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God in Trumann. Mrs. Throgmartin was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Throgmartin; one son, Keith Brian Throgmartin; two sisters, 3 brothers and her parents, Eddie and Clara Parker Simmons. She is survived by three sons, Richard Harris of Fort Wayne, Ind., Scott Miles of Trumann, and Terry Throgmartin of Florissant, MO; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. at First Assembly of God in Trumann with Rev. Kenneth Doke and Rev. Jerry Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann. Pallbearers will be Kevin Simmons, Mark Simmons, Wayne King, Jason Stewart, Loyd Inzer and Leroy Mabe. Honorary pallbearer will be W.H. Smith. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. An online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
