Mr. Forrest Calvin DuVall of Jonesboro, died Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the family residence at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 27 days. He was born Wednesday, July 5, 1933 in Atkins, Ark., to the late Wade Lawrence and Zettie Virden DuVall. Mr. DuVall lived in the Jonesboro area for the past 20 years and was formerly of West Memphis, Ark., was a carpenter and of the Baptist faith. Mr. DuVall was preceded in death by his wife, Deloris Ann DuVall; three brothers; five sisters and his parents. He is survived by two daughters, Debbie Wood of Florida, and Sandra Kemp of Bay; two sons, Steve DuVall of Farmington, Ind., and Jeffrey Don DuVall of Jonesboro; two sisters, Bonnie Grogan of Paragould and Geraldine Hawkins of Marked Tree; one brother, Jerry DuVall of Marked Tree; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be will be Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Eddie Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg, Ark. Pallbearers will be Jerry DuVall, Jimmy DuVall, Jerry Allen DuVall, John Latham, David Kemp, Darrell Kemp, Brandon Heath and Cory Schisler. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary L. DuVall and Larry Wayne Plunkett. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. at Thompson An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
