Obituary

Mrs. Freida Mae Jones of Trumann died Friday, April 26, 2013 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro at the age of 72 tears and 22 days. Mrs. Jones was born in Herget, Ark., to the late Harvey and Bessie Irene Thompson Barton. She lived most of her lifetime in Trumann, was a housewife and of the Pentecostal faith. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Cecil Jones, one son, Christopher Jones; four sisters, one brother and her parents. She is survived three daughters, Loretta Seghi of Ohio, Iva Jackson of Trumann and Celia Hitchcock of Sandwich, Ill.; two sons, Rodnie Jones of Pocahontas and Darrell Jaynes of Trumann; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, April 29, 2013 at 1:30 p.m., in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. James Smelser officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be Harvey Jones, Joe Reed, Paul Jones, Bobby Ward, Sid Penldy and Daniel Bolois. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann An online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
