"Aunt Maxine, although I didn't grow up around you I have very special memories of visits to your home. I remember Uncle Charley's pig, the outhouse, and your wonderful suppers. You are loved by many and will be missed by all. You are truly a southern lady through and through. My heart and prayers to all those who knew you and hope that the Lord will ease our pain with the knowledge that you are an Angel sitting beside Him now waiting for all of us to join you. I love you, Vickie Battles-Drevalas

"Granny sleeps peacefully now, in a sleep without dreams. When she hears the commanding call of Jesus saying "MAXINE WAKE UP" she will arise fully rested, youthful, energetic, and never know another moment of sickness nor sadness.
