Mrs. Mable Florence Hammell, 80, of Trumann, Ark. died Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born in Weiner, Ark., and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. Mrs. Hammell was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Iran Hammell, Jr., three sons, Louis Ivan Hammell III, Cecil Brent Hammell and David Trent Hammell; one daughter, Tina Carol Coker; four brothers and two sisters and her parents Cecil Eastres and Lydia Durand. She is survived by one daughter, Sheila Grimes (Ronnie) of Trumann; one sister, Margaret Copp (Ken) of Elbridge, NY; 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Graveside services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m., at Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro with Rev. Roger Haynes officiating. Burial will follow with Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann in charge.
