Mr. Gary Wayne “Red” Easter of Trumann departed this life on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the family residence in Trumann, Ark., at the age of 64 years, 4 months and 16 days.  He was born Wednesday, February 10, 1954 in Jonesboro and lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He was a river boat deck hand and of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Easter was preceded in death by his father, Noel Andrew Easter.

He is survived by two daughters, Cansas Easter and Cassidy Easter both of Trumann; two sons, Garrett Easter of Conway and Cody Cagle of Trumann; his mother, Zetta Mae O'Dell Easter of Trumann; one brother, Greg Easter of Pine Bluff; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.  

Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Doke officiating. Private burial will follow in Kellers Chapel Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark.

Pallbearers will be Gavon Dillinger, Garrett Easter, George Duboise, Scott Brown, Jake Easter and Phillip Wilcockson.
