"Dear Family Losing a loved one can be devastating. However, please take comfort in knowing that death isn’t the end. Jesus demonstrated that by what he did when he learned of his friend Lazarus' death when he was on earth. The account recorded in John chapter 11 shows that to those who were with him when he got the bad news, Jesus said: "Lazarus has falling asleep and I am going to awaken him". And just as he stated, the account also reveals that he asked Lazarus' sisters to take him to the grave where Lazarus was already buried for four days. When he got there, he called Lazarus, who came out alive and well like he was never dead. The Bible shows that what Jesus did then was a preview of what he'll do when he rules the entire earth as King of God’s heavenly Kingdom or Government. (Daniel 7: 13 and 14); (Daniel 2:44) When that times comes, the following Scriptures confirm that Jesus will eliminate all the problems we face today like SICKNESS, OLD AGE, WAR, VIOLENCE, PAIN, DEATH. EVEN OUR DEAD LOVED ONES WILL BE RESURRECTED. (Isaiah 33:24); (Job 33:25); (Psalms 46: 9 and 10); (Isaiah 2: 4); (Psalms 37: 9-11 and 29); (Revelation 21: 3 and 4); (John 5: 28 and 29). "My Cousins, I will never forget my "Uncle Check". He was always smiling and joking.I always had fun at Uncle Checks and its funny looking back now at how a rope tied to a tree, a horse with one eye or a creek could be such fun and create such memories.In my adult years I have many more memories of my Uncle Check and my time spent with him. The one Im most fond of is the time we were at Uncle Kennys and It was just the Holmes brothers and I. Of course Uncle Check had his humor going and I chimed in.We went toe to toe on a subject and laughed so hard until we were all almost crying. For once I was able to keep up with him and we loved it. We always remembered that time and talked about it everytime we got together.I did and think he also found it hard to beleive that I kept up with him and his sense of humor. I have so many fond memories of your dad ,too many to mention. Just know how much I loved him and will miss him. Take comfort in knowing he is holding hands with Aunt Elisabeth and watching down over you guys. Hes happy and they are both healthy and together again.
