Obituary
Mrs. Wilma Jean Moss of Cherokee Village, Ark., died Sunday, April 29, 2012 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 64 years 1 month 19 days. She was born Wednesday, March 10, 1948 in Osceola, Ark., to the late Robert and Mary Richards Dunkin. She lived in Cherokee Village for the past 10 years and was formerly of Bay and Trumann. She was a retired truck driver and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Moss was preceded in death by her husband, Mac Lewis Moss, one son, Billy Davis, one sister, Wanda York and her parents. Survivors include one son, Bobby Davis of Kansas City, Kansas, one brother, James Dunkin of Alabama and 4 grandchildren. Funeral service will be Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Jim West officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be James Tankersley, Barney Oldfield, John Weston, Dalton Scarbrough, Bo Scarbrough and Ken Coker. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
