Obituary

Memphis - Mr. Gregory William Charles Clem, was born in Memphis TN to Mr. Gary Clem and the late Brenda Jane Hicks Clem on Friday February 28, 1969. He died on Wednesday February 15, 2012 at the age of 42 at the Delta Medical Center in Memphis TN. Gregory loved spending time with his family and loved the time that he had with his mother. He also enjoyed music. He was preceded in death by his mother Brenda Jane Hicks Clem, and a grandfather, Willie Clem. Survivors include his father Gary Clem of Memphis; grandparents, Ethel Clem of Trumann, Charley Hicks SR. and Pauline Hicks of Trumann. Funeral Services will be Saturday February 18, at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, with Jeff Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in the Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree. Pallbearers will be Ken Daniel, Kenney Raby, Butch Whittingham, Franklin Laire, Mike Johnson, and Joe Carter. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 pm until 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. An online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.

"My family and I would like to take this time to express our deepest sympathy and heartfelt sadness at the passing of Gregory Clem. I grew up in Trumann and recall spending most of my earlier years Christmas's with Greg and the rest of the grandchildren at Mamal and Papal's home on Campbell st. We had the greatest times in that house over the Holidays. Greg always seemed to make everyone smile and laugh when he was there. We do so miss you and are sure that you are giving the Angels something to laugh and smile about now. You will be greatly missed and we will always Love you. Say HI to Mom for all of us...
