She was born to Earl Aston, and Becky (Bell) Aston in Monette, AR. Mrs. Shawen was retired from the Singer Company and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister and, 2 brothers. Mrs. Shawen is survived by 1 daughter, Betty Lou Presley of Lakeland, TN, 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
