Mr. Lee Roy Liles was born on Saturday, March 7, 1925 son of the late Jess and Sarah James Liles. He died on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 85 years 8 months and 18 days. Mr. Liles was born in Sharp County, Ark., and had lived in Trumann since 1952. He was a retired truck driver for Enron Gas, veteran of the U.S. Army and World War II and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Liles was preceded in death by one daughter, JoAnn Liles, one sister and his parents. Survivors include his wife, Mable Wilkens Liles of the home; two sons, Jimmy Liles of Trumann and Ronnie Liles of Jonesboro; one sister, Sybel Sullivan of Harrisburg and one brother, Wayne Liles of Cave City, Ark., three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday afternnon from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. Burial will be private.
