Mr. William Albert Moore, 93, of Trumann, died Thursday, November 12, 2009, at the family residence. He was born in Athens, Ala., and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He was a retired factory worker, veteran of the U.S. Army and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Moore, one sister; five brothers and his parents, William J. and Mary Moore. Survivors include his nephew, William J. Moore of Harrisburg, two nieces, Lisa Cravens of Marshall, Ark., and Linda Moore of Harrisburg.; step-daughter, Teresa Ganus Newell of Aberdeen, S.D.; step-son, Charles Ganus of N.C.; and his sister-in-law, Lois Moore of Harrisburg. Funeral service will be Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Criner officiating. Burial will be private at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 noon until service time at 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
