Obituary
Mr. Randall Clay Evans was born on Wednesday, August 30, 1972, son of Delbert Evans and the late Deanna Lawrence Evans. Mr. Evans died Wednesday, September 16, 2009, in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 37 years 0 months and 17 days. He was born in Aurora, IL, and had lived most of his lifetime in the Harrisburg area. He was construction worker and a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include two sons, Ian Evans and Nathan Evans both of Bono; two step-daughters, Paige Brown and Trish Brown both of Bono; his father, Delbert Evans of Harrisburg; three sisters, Regina Hudgens of Jonesboro, Rhonda Poff of Harrisburg and Devonda Pillow of Marmaduke, AR; one brother, Allen Gaskins of Jonesboro. Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, with Rev. Melton Cowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg, Ark. Active pallbearers will be Todd Pillow, Mike Hudgens, Scott Carter, Cory Carter, Daniel Poff, and Jayson Cunningham. Honorary pallbearers will be Grady McGuire, Roger Evans, Matt Fahr and Brad Swanner Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
