Pearl Lillie Eaves

Mrs. Pearl Lillie Eaves was born on Wednesday, June 19, 1907, daughter of the late Edward and Ada Ridge South. Mrs. Eaves died Monday, May 18, 2009 at Eaglecrest Nursing Center in Ash Flat, Ark., at the age of 101 years 10 months and 29 days. She was born in Dixon, Tenn., and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a retied restaurant cook and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Eaves was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Eaves, two sons, two daughters and her parents. Survivors include one daughter, Wilma Harrison of Ash Flat; one son, Billy Eaves of Ash Flat; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. David Isaac officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be Larry Gairhan, Donald Gairhan, Samuel Gairhan, Ricky Short, Beau Eaves and Eric Eaves.
