Florence Yvionne Martin Owens

July 16, 1948 - December 14, 2008

Mrs. Florence Yvionne Owens of Trumann, was born on Tuesday, July 16, 1940, daughter of the late Carl and Lucille Pierce Martin. Mrs. Owens died Sunday, December 14, 2008 at the family residence, at the age of 68 years 4 months 28 days. She was born in Lepanto, Ark., and had lived in Trumann for the past 33 years and was formerly of England. Mrs. Owens was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God in Trumann. She was preceded in death by one sister, one brother and her parents. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Landon Owens of the home; one daughter, Linda and husband Ronnie Maxwell of Trumann; one son, Mickey Owens of Cabot; one brother, Bobby Martin of Harrisburg; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the First Assembly of God with Rev. Kenneth Doke officiating. Burial will follow in the Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery in Harrisburg, Ark., under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Taylor Morgan, Jared Maxwell, Reece Owens, Kenny Maxwell, Ricky Vinson and Patrick Kimberland.Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of First Assembly of God. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-8 at the First Assembly of God on Willow Road in Trumann, Ark. Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Church Building Fund.
