TRUMANN - Mrs. Phyllis Carol Jones, 58 of Trumann, died Sunday, December 7, 2008 at the family residence. She was born in Poinsett county, was a homemaker and had lived in Trumann most of her lifetime. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Henry Jones, one brother, Danny Thomas, one sister, Judy Thomas and her parents, Drew and Gwindal Stewart Thomas Survivors include one daughter, Dawn Marie Shuburte of Trumann; three sons, Scotty Lynn Jones, Ronnie Lee Jones, and Lloyd Allen Jones, all of Trumann; three sisters, Venita Morgan of Benton, AR., Mary Thomas and Vearline Thomas both of Trumann; two brothers, Donald Thomas of Harrisburg and Ralph Thomas of Trumann; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; special friend, Kenny Herring. Funeral services will be Tuesday evening December 9, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann with Sister Shelby Shelton officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening December 9, 2008 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. Burial will be private.
