Chad Wayne Phillips

Mr. Chad Wayne Phillips was born on Wednesday, August 5, 1970, son of Charles Lindle and Marsha S. Milligan Phillips. Mr. Phillips died Monday, November 10, 2008 at the family residence at the age of 38 years 3 months and 5 days. He was born in Jonesboro and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He was a caregiver for his grandmother and was an employee of Dixie Gin Co., in Trumann; a graduate of Trumann High School and Arkansas State University and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Trumann. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Buster & Dorothy Phillips and Wayne Milligan. Survivors included his parents, Charles and Marsha Milligan Phillips of Trumann. one sister, Nicole Kelly and her husband David of Bay; one niece, Breanna Phillips of Trumann and one grandmother, Wilma Milligan of Trumann; one uncle, Phillip Milligan of Dallas, Texas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Trumann with Dr. Tad Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro with Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Joe Hamilton, Barry Hazelwood, Kevin Hazelwood, Allan Milligan, Mike Fagan, Brad Moon and Myles Milligan. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church on Highway 69 in Trumann. Memorial may be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 575, Trumann, Ark.
