David Lewis Gibson

May 23, 1939 - February 2, 2018

Mr. David Lewis Gibson of Trumann, departed this life Friday, February 2, 2018 at the family residence in Trumann at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 10 days. He was born Tuesday, May 23, 1939 in Lufkin, Texas and had lived in Trumann for the past two years and was formerly of Dallas, Texas. Mr. Gibson was a heat and air technician, veteran U. S. Army and of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Lacey Dureen Gibson; one sister Bethany Brousard and was the son of the late Lewis Jake and Arbutus McKinney Gibson.

He is survived by three sons, Raymond D. Gibson of Tyronza, Ark., Paul James Gibson of Beaumont, Texas and Mark Gibson of Texas; three grandchildren, Angelica Miles, Crystal Gibson and Megan Gibson; two great-grandchildren, Joseph and Katilyn Miles.

All services will be private under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
