Lillie Mae Angel Williams

Mrs. Lillie Mae Angel Williams, 84, of Jonesboro was born on Sunday, May 11, 1924 daughter of the late Clarence Edward and Maggie Lou Neeley Farmer. Mrs. Williams died, Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Skilcare Nursing Home in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 84 years 8 months and 10 days. She was born in Pikeville, Tenn., and had lived most of her lifetime in the Jonesboro area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her first husband, E. O. Angel and her second husband, Burt Williams, one grandson, Mark Angel, two sisters, one brother and her parents. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Roland Janes of Memphis; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Ailene Angel and Bruce and Deborah Angel all of Jonesboro; one brother and sister-in-law, Claude and Ann Farmer of Pikeville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Don Seat officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be Eric Shaffer, Jesse Shaffer, Jerry Janes, Greg Janes, Bobby Janes, Todd Grissom and Bryan Copeland.
