Paul Edward Allred

Mr. Paul Edward Allred was born on Thursday, May 17, 1951, son of the late Robert Holston and Gracie Earlene Baine Allred. Mr. Allred died Monday, December 17, 2007, at the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark., at the age of 56 years and 7 months. He was born in Harrisburg, Ark., and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He was disable, a veteran of the U.S. Army and of the Church of God belief. Mr. Allred was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Allred and his parents. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Martha Vannatter Allred of the home; five sons, Jerry Allred of Trumann, Terry Allred, Donald H. Allred and Joseph Allred all of Piggott and Paul Allred Jr., of Paragould; four sisters, Alberta Smith of Piggott, Carolyn Vinson of Trumann, Geraldine Crews of Jonesboro and Shirley Goodhart of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one brother, Bobby Allred of Blytheville; 4 Godsons, Bryan Northcott, Tyler Northcott, Miles Doyle and Bobby Allred Jr., and 5 grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Vinson officiating. Burial will be in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR. Active pallbearers will be Aaron Buffington, Miles, Doyle, Bobby Allred Jr., Michael Vinson, Tommy Hilliard and Larry Vinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Vinson, Glen Vinson and Michael Wagner. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home.
