Patricia Ann Bishop

May 16, 1958 - January 18, 2018

   Mrs. Patricia Ann “Squirt” Bishop, of Trumann departed this life on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the age of 59 years 8 months and 3 days. She was born Friday, May 16, 1958 to the late Robert Allen and Ella B. Hughes Kirkland. Mrs. Bishop was born in Jonesboro, Ark., and was a lifetime residence of Trumann. She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.   She was preceded in death by four sisters, Alice Yvonne Halfacre, Linda Hicks, Diane Baker and Debra Pauletta Wilson; one brother, John “Sonny” Kirkland; her parents, Robert Allen and Ella B Hughes Kirkland; in laws, Bill and Helen Odel Bishop and one brother-in-law, Jerry Bishop.

     She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Jimmy Bishop of the home; two daughters, Misty Canizles and Tamera Guijarro both of Trumann; five sisters, Annie Timbs of Missouri, Peggy Jones and Nancy Kirkland both of Trumann, Betty Bishop and Angela Floyd both of Bay; six brothers, Dean Kirkland and Ronald Kirkland both of Louisiana, Robert Kirkland of Tennessee, Donald Kirkland of Jonesboro, Tommy Kirkland of Trumann and Timmy Kirkland of Mississippi and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m.in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Rick Kimery officiating. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
