Billy Ray Medley

Mr. Billy Ray Medley of Trumann was born on September 18, 1928, the son of the late Benjamin Bill and Willie Sue Lloyd Medley. Mr. Medley died Friday, November 16, 2007 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 79 years, 1 month and 29 days. Mr. Medley was born in Blytheville, Ark and had lived most of his lifetime in the Trumann area. He was a retired farmer, President of the Trumann Rural Water Association, Purple Heart veteran of the U. S. Army and Korean War, member of the American Legion Post 42 and a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church near Trumann. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann
