Johnathan Grant Long

June 17, 1987 - August 25, 2007

Mr. Johnathan Grant Long was born on Wednesday, June 17, 1987, son of Marlin Grant and Etta White Long. Mr. Long died Saturday, August 25, 2007 from injuries received in a one car accident near Trumann, at the age of 20 years 2 months and 8 days. He was born in West Memphis, Ark. and was a lifetime resident of the Trumann and Harrisburg area. He was an employee of the RDM Cabinet Company; 2005 Graduate of Trumann High School and a member of the Maple Grove Baptist Church near Trumann. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Elmer Long and Grady White of Trumann. He is survived by his parents, Marlin Grant and Etta White Long of the home; two sisters, Kristen McDaniel and Lin Long both of Trumann; grandmothers, Addie Bell Long of Harrisburg and Ann White of Trumann; two nieces, Billie Owens and Gracie Long; three nephews, Garrett McDaniel, Addison Cox and Brody McDaniel,several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service will be Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Alan Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be Derek Robinson, Andrew Hopper, David Parker, Weston Moon, J.R. McDaniel and Josh Bowen.
