Carolyn was my first cousin and we had lost touch years ago. I was shocked to find this obituary. Carolyn and I were the same age and she was a bridesmaid in my wedding 40 years ago. She was one of the sweetest cousins that I ever had. Rest in peace Carolyn with our Heavenly Father.

I began playing as friends with Carolyn and her sister Peggy before I started to school, and we lived beside each other throughout our childhood into our early adulthood. I have worked with Carolyn for the past nine years at AT&T. Over the past several months we spoke on the phone discussing various business issues. Seldom did a conversation end without Carolyn mentioning Mike or Audra, it was apparent she loved you both so very much. More important, it was clear from the service today that she was in love with the Lord Jesus. While our body's ache with grief and shock our soul's rejoice in knowing that Carolyn is standing on Holy Ground in the presence of her Lord. Our prayers will be with you and the entire family as you lean on Jesus for strength for the journey ahead. Praise be to our Lord!

I worked with Carolyn some 20 years before I retired in April of 2001. In all the time we worked together she never had an unkind word for anyone. She was always positive and supportive about work and always talked about her family.

Michael, Audra and all the families touched by this tragic loss,I worked many years with Carolyn at SW Bell(now AT&T)in different jobs and later in our careers, in the same work group. She worked in Jonesboro and I worked in Little Rock. She was such a wonderful person to be around, her warm smile and friendly ways made you feel like you had known her forever. I'll always remember Carolyn as a true friend and the wonderul lady who had only kind words to say about everyone.I can't imagine the pain and suffering you all are enduring at this time but knowing she's in heaven with the family that has gone before her has to be a comfort to you all. Mike and Audra, My prayers are with you both during this difficult time. It seems only yesterday that I had Audra and Chelsea in my class at Elm Grove Baptist Church. Carol was such a wonderful person. She will be missed greatly. The days and months ahead will be very hard, but remember God is your source of strength and comfort.
