Marzee Ann Rowan HynemanAugust 28, 1919 - January 27, 2007 Mrs. Marzee Ann Hyneman, 87 of Jonesboro passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2007. She was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hyneman; father, Forrest Rowan; mother, Carrie Rains Holt, step father, W. C. Holt and her brother and sister-in-law, Burness and Mary Holt. She was born on Thursday, August 28, 1919 in Jonesboro to Forrest and Carrie Rowan. After her fathers death in an accident, she was raised by her mother Carrie Rains Holt and step-father, William Charles Holt. She was a graduate of Jonesboro High School in 1936 and Arkansas State University in 1940. While in college she was a member of the Alpha Tau Zeta and Phi Gamma Mu sororities, the French Club and the Home Economics Club. In addition, she was selected as Journalism Queen while at Arkansas State. She was married to Frank Hyneman on December 12, 1943 just prior to him being sent overseas during World War II. Upon his return from the war they moved to Trumann where she was active in the community. She was a member of the Century Arts and Civic Club and Daughters of the American Revolution.
