Mrs. Mary Sue Nunnally was born on August 8, 1922, daughter of the late James Alvin and Ella Sue Arandall Smithson. Mrs. Nunnally died Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at the family residence in Trumann, Ark., at the age of 84. Born in Dyersburg, Tenn., she had lived in Trumann since 1951, was a retired restaurant owner, member of the Eastern Star, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, First Baptist Young at Heart and a member of the United Methodist Women and First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Nunnally was preceded in death by her husband, Osee William Nunnally, Sr., one sister, Gertie Allen, one brother, Robert Smithson and her parents. Survivors include four daughters, Brenda & Jackie Moon of Bay, Betty Kendrick and Diann & Jimmy Moss both of Trumann and Jo Ann and Roy Xanders of Golconda, Ill.; two sons, George and Beth Nunnally of Bentonville and Osee, Jr. and Sandy Nunnally of Trumann; one sister, Hazel Webb of Trumann; two brothers, James Alvin Smithson of Olive Branch, Miss., and J.W. Smithson of Trumann; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, January 5th at 1:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Trumann with Rev. Jim Wilson and Rev. Jim Thresher officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark., under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. Pallbearers will be Gan Nunnally, Will Nunnally, Jeff Stewart, Jeff Winchester, Greg Whitlock and Terry Matney.Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Moss, Chad Moss, Mark Richie, Heath Hendrix and Eric Pagen. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. Memorial may be made to First United Methodist Church and St. Bernard
