Wanda Bernice Norwood MossAugust 2, 1942 - July 21, 2006 Mrs. Wanda Bernice Norwood Moss of 1305 Woodfield Cove in Trumann was born on Sunday, August 2, 1942 in Leachville, the daughter of Thomas Wesley Norwood and Sylvia Pewitt Norwood. Mrs. Moss died Friday, July 21, 2006 at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro a the age of 63 years 11 months and 19 days. Mrs. Moss had lived most of her lifetime in the Trumann area. She was a retired school teacher for the Trumann Public School system; member of the Master Gardeners of Jonesboro and was gloriously saved at Central Missionary Baptist Church in Trumann in April of 1965 and was a member of the Maple Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Moss was preceded in death by one brother, Arlis Eugene Norwood; one sister, Bettie Norwood and her mother, Sylvia Pewitt Norwood. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Danny E. Moss of the home; a daughter, Cathy Sellers of Bald Knob; a son, Tom Moss of Boonsboro, Maryland; her father, Tom Norwood of Trumann; one sister, Christine Deloris Speakman of Pocahontas; one brother, Thomas Evert Norwood of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; and four grandchildren, John Philip Easley, Matthew Edward Easley, Sarah R. Byrd and Victoria Elizabeth Moss. Funeral service will be Monday, July 24, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, Ark., with Dr. Jim Shaw and Rev. Bill Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be George Cash, Freddy Farmer, Larry Henderson, Harold Pankey, Gary Smith and Dale Whitlatch. Honorary pallbearers will be Bluford Johnson, Gene Hogan and Johnny Goodman. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
