The SunJonesboro, ArkansasWednesday June 7, 2006David Dewayne HoltTRUMANN - David Dewayne Holt, 45 of Lake City, died Thursday in Jonesboro. Mr. Holt was born in Trumann where he lived his lifetime. He was a n employee at Arkansas State University as a Telecommunication Manager, a 1979 Graduate of Bay High School, a certified diver, an avid duck hunter, was comtrain certified, and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his mother Mrs. Ruth Jeanette Holt. Mr. Holt is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cindy Holt of Jonesboro, one son, Matthew David Holt and one daughter, Brittney Lauren Holt both of Jonesboro;, his father, Leonard Holt of Trumann, and by three brothers, Ricky Holt, Jerry Holt both of Lake City and by Ronnie Holt of Trumann; one sister Mrs. Jackie Musto of Bricktown, New Jersey.. Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Trumann, Ark., with Rev. Leonard Knight officiating. Burial will follow at the Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann. Active pallbearers will be Justin Griffin, Doug Griffin, Scott Arender, Andrew Williamson, Ted Gary, and Clayton Mays. Honorary pallbearer will be the Telecommunications Department at Arkansas State University.. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home.
