Shelia Darna Mitchell

February 8, 1956 - May 19, 2006

Mrs. Shelia Darna Mitchell , 50, of Trumann died Friday, May 19th, at the NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born in Jonesboro and was a lifetime resident of Trumann. Mrs. Mitchell was an inventory control clerk for Rowsey Furniture in Jonesboro and had formerly worked for 21 years for K-Mart and was a member of the McCormick Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Bro. Stoney Busby in 1986. Survivors include her husband, Terry W. Mitchell of the home; a son, Marcus Wayne Mitchell of the home; her mother, Mornay Christy Busby of Trumann; and two sisters, Dottie Hicks and Regina Etter both of Trumann. Funeral services will be Monday, May 22nd at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann, with the Rev. Jim Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery at Jonesboro. Pallbearers will be Charles Mitchell, Ricky Mitchell, Glen Miller, Toney Busby, Rick Winkles and Ronnie Samuels.
