I was very very sorry to hear about Brother JP passing. I knew he hadn't been well for some time, but it is still a shock. I'm glad I got to see him and Sis Wilma only a few months ago when I was visiting in Arkansas. My condolences to the whole family for the loss of a good man. I have always had love for JP and Wilma. My Paw was the best Paw a girl could have. He was always there for me to keep me from falling and to encourage me if I was down. I never remember a harsh word ever coming out of his mouth. He was sweetness in itself. He was brave, but he didn't have to prove it. He was strong and courageous as he lived his life out and accepted every challenge with a smile. I sure will miss this wonderful man who gave me so much!!

Uncle J.P. was one of my favorite uncles. One of the things about uncle J.P. was that he could take his two hands and shape a piece of wood into an unbelievable treasure! He is probably already working on St. Peter's harp! I will miss you uncle J. and so will a lot of other people--we love you and we will all see you soon!William Van Der Griff, Sr.
