June Ellen Williams Huckabay

Ms. June Ellen Williams Huckabay was born on Sunday, September 26, 1954, the daughter of the late Raymond A. and Sally Elizabeth Short Williams. Ms. Huckabay died Wednesday, November 23, 2005, at the family residence in Trumann, Ark., at the age of 51. She was born in Elaine, Ark., and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a nurses aide for Truman Health and Rehab., and of the Church of God faith. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Alma Wilson and Rebecca Williams and her parents. Survivors include a daughter, Tonya Gann of Harrisburg, a son, Chris Gann of Harrisburg, nine sisters, Mary Mitchell of Colt, Betty Hoglan of Wamego, Ks., Lois Collett of Oklahoma City, Bonnie Tesch of Westmoreland, Ks., Louise Raymond of Bald Knob, Lucille Moreland and Marilyn Keiffer both of Trumann, Kay Presley of Jonesboro and Doris Exum of Pleasant Grove. Four brothers, Raymond Williams, James Williams and Jerry L. Williams all of Trumann and Franklin Williams of Forrest City and our brother in Christ, Harvey Carter of Trumann. Graveside service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Nichols Cemetery in Lepanto, Ark., with Rev. Edward Stort officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann. Active pallbearers will be Joe Gann, Scott Presley, Shaun Presley, James Williams, Alan Pennington, Billy Ray Williams, Ronnie Keiffer and Kaye Presley. Honorary pallbearers will include Larry Morris, Karen Gann and Kevin Morris. Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home.
