Russell Paul Cromwell

Mr. Russell Paul Cromwell 80, of Bay departed this life on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Ark. He was born in Trumann and had lived in Bay for the past 40 years and was formerly of Michigan. He was a retired auto assembler for General Motors Chevrolet Plant in Michigan; 3rd degree Mason and a member of Broadway Baptist Church in Bay. He was preceded in death by his wife Jewel Dean Winters Cromwell in 2016; two sisters; four brothers and was the son of the late Pinson and Nellie Metcalf Cromwell. He is survived by one daughter, Autumn Gipson of Bay; one sister, Linda Faye Cromwell of Brookland; niece, Bella Gipson; nephew, Luke Gipson and several other nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be Wednesday at 1:30 P.M. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Jensen officiating. Burial will follow at Bolivar Cemetery near Harrisburg, Ark. Pallbearers will be Corey Wilson, Mike Cromwell, Johnny Cromwell, Eddie Vaughn, Will Pulley and Seth Pulley. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Ellison and Vernon Winters.
