Shelby Jean Lowery

August 31, 1941 - May 3, 2019

Shelby Jean Lowery, 77 of Trumann departed this life on Friday, May 3rd at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Mrs. Lowery was born and was a lifetime resident of Trumann. She was a former employee of the Singer Company, Delta Wood Products and Wal-Mart in Trumann and a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda Michelle Lowery and was the daughter of the late Jessie Melvin and Geneva Elizabeth Hall Robbins.       She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jerry Wayne Lowery of the home; one daughter, Anna (Steve) Gregory of Trumann; four sons, Don (Jackie) Lowery of Muldrow, Okla., Ken (Michele) Montgomery and Nick (Candice) Lowery both of Trumann and Wayne Lowery of Casper, Wy; two sisters, Diana Hodges and Melissia Kowis both of Trumann, one brother, Melvin Robbins of Jonesboro; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.       The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 7th from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A celebration of her life will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Loggins officiating.  Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark.       Pallbearers will be Nick Lowery, Brent Long, Kevin Montgomery, Brandon Dix, Hunter Stallings, Chase Lowery and Chad Robbins.
