Garry Owens

July 21, 1955 - July 14, 2019

Mr.  Garry Steven Owens passed from this life Sunday, July 14, 2019 at his residence in Trumann at the age of 63 years, 11 months and 23 days.  Born July 21, 1955 to J.B. Owens and Jewell Dean Owens in Marion, Ohio.  He lived most of his life in the Trumann Area.       He was a veteran of the Air Force Band, and Army Corp of Engineers, and retired Truck Driver.  He loved playing guitars with family and friends, writing songs, family get togethers, cookouts and fishing.        He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Owens, Brother, Robert Owens, one sister, Mauldenia Owens, beloved cousins, uncles and aunts.      He is survived by his mother, Jewell Owens-Huffmaster of Trumann; son, Brannon Owens (Melissa) of Daytona Beach, FL; granddaughter, Cora Dean Owens.  Sister, Susan Timbs (Doug) of Trumann; many nieces and nephews.  Sister-In-Law, Annette Owens of Trumann.  He knew the Lord and the Lord knew him.  You shall be greatly missed for your chair will be empty. II Kings.       A celebration of his life will be Friday, July19th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with close family and friends at Susan Timbs home, 17568 Barry Lane in Trumann, AR.
