It's been a month today since you've been gone and it still hurts as much as it did when I was told you were gone. I catch myself picking up the phone to call you but then I realize I can't anymore. I know you're with Mammaw again and not in any pain, that's the only thing that gets me through this. I love and miss you so much Papaw. Hope you're flying high up there in Heaven!!

I will miss you Uncle Red! Thank you for all the time that you spent with my daddy keeping him going! Daddy enjoyed your phone calls, working together on roofs and of course all the fishing trips. I know he will be happy to see you again in heaven. ??

A precious 'young' man! We loved you dearly and will miss you visiting the Adams family and sharing the stories of the good old days with our granny, your sister, Vada... and all your fishing stories. We rejoice that you are happy and healthy and rejoicing with loved ones.

Uncle "Red" always had a smile on his face and was ready to go fishing. He was one of the kindest men I ever knew. He always would stop by and check on my elderly parents to see how they were. I know he is with the Lord and aunt Lois now. We will miss you uncle Red
