Mary Ellen Morelock

July 12, 1937 - June 18, 2020

Mrs. Mary Ellen Morelock of Jonesboro departed this life on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the family residence at the age of 82 years, 11 months, and 6 days.  She was born Monday, July 12, 1937 in Florence, Alabama and lived in Jonesboro and was formerly of Trumann.  She was retired from Delta Tool Box and a cook and of the Church of Christ faith.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin D. Morelock, Jr.; 2 grandsons, 6 brothers, 5 sisters and her parents, Clay and Lee Fraizer Bratton.       She is survived by one son, Rickey Morelock of Trumann; three daughters, Delois Bivens, Tammy Thomas and Ellie Morelock all of Trumann; two sisters, Nancy Wilson and Ruby Ward both of Trumann. 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.       Visitation will be Friday, June 19, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.  Graveside service will be Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. in  Holly Springs Cemetery with  Bro.
