Dolores Ovaugh Tolbert

March 29, 1933 - August 10, 2020

Mrs. Dolores O. Tolbert departed this life on August 10, 2020 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 87 years, 4 months and 12 days.  She was born Wednesday, March 29, 1933 in Bay, AR and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann.  Dolores was a artist, singer, songwriter and served on several city committees.  She was a seamstress for The Wedding Gallery for several years and was a member of Melton Ave Church of Christ.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Raymond “Bill” Tolbert; one son, Steven Paul Tolbert, one brother, Howard Wayne Teague and her parents, Roy and Helen Caldwell Teague.       She is survived by one son, Anthony John Tolbert of Corning, AR; one brother, Jackie (Janie) Teague of Bay; and one niece Tamara Robinson of Trumann and several great niece and nephews.       Visitation will be Thursday from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Ronnie Benson, Nolan Glover and Matt Flad officiating.  Burial will be private in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR.       In compliance with COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing will be required along with face masks.       An online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
