Billie Joyce Maloney

Billie Joyce Maloney departed this life on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 82 years, 6 months and 29 days.  She was born Friday, March 11, 1938 in Trumann and lived most of her life in the Trumann area.  She was a former Administrator of Melody Nursing Home, part owner of Delta Wood Products and was a member of First Baptist Church in Trumann.  She was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Waters and her parents, Ray and Ruby Earline Robbins Waters.       She is survived by husband, Bobby “Bob” Maloney of Jonesboro; one son, Michael (Stephanie) Maloney of Jonesboro; one daughter, Michelle (Jarrod) Childers of Jonesboro; one brother, Wayne (Lawanda) Waters of Trumann; four grandchildren, Danielle Childers, Sarah (Colton) Davis, Tommy Maloney and Kennedy Maloney; sister-in-law, Helen (Howard) Reece; brother-in-law; Louis Eddy; one niece, Stace Kennedy; and one nephew, Eric Glenn. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.  A Celebration of Life will be Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. John Maley officiating.  Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark.   Pallbearers will be Louis Eddy, Howard Reece, Dale Whitlatch, Gary White, Bob White, Tommy Maloney and Colton Davis.       In compliance with COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing will be required along with face masks and the signing of a COVID-19 form will be require.          Lasting memorials to First Baptist Church, P.O.
