Edward Carl "E C" O'Brien

October 25, 1952 - November 4, 2020

Mr. Edward Carl “E.C.” O’Brien, of Trumann departed this life on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 68 years and 10 days.  He was born Saturday, October 25, 1952 in  Harrisburg, AR and lived in the Trumann area most of his life.  He was a veteran of U.S. Marine Corps, a retired police officer and of the Christian faith.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ermal and Genny Fike O’Brien; two brothers, Bobby O’Brien, Carvin O’Brien and two sisters, Sue Vixler and Sis McLaughlin.       E.C. is survived by his wife Patsy Obrien of the home; three sons, Shane O’Brien, Chad (Angela) O’Brien and Easy O’Brien all of Trumann; one brother, Gene O’Brien of Batesville, AR; two sisters, Betty Timbs of Trumann, AR and Kay Gregory of Marion, AR; 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.        Memorial of honorable service will be held Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home.        Online guest book can be signed at www. thompsonfuneralhome.net
