Russell Stroud

March 15, 1950 - December 18, 2020

Mr. Russell Lee Stroud of Trumann passed away Friday December 18, 2020 at the family residence at the age of 70 years, 9 months and 3 days. He was born Wednesday, March 15, 1950 in Trumann and returned  7 months ago after living in Brennam, TX for 40 years. Russell was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Trumann.   Before retirement, he delivered meals for the Brennam State School.  He was the son of the late, Clifford William and Nellie Marie Folk Stroud and was also preceded by a grandson, David, four sisters, and 2 brothers Russell is survived by two daughters, Lisa McGrath of Mt. Morris, MI and Tracey Richards of Milton, Fl; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Pauline Hudgens of Trumann; one brother, Earl Stroud of Jonesboro  and several nieces and nephews There will be a private memorial service at a later date,                                Burial will be private under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home.   Lasting memorials can be made to Heart Transplant Center of St. Luke’s Hospital , 6720 Bertner Ave, Houston, Tx.77030 An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
