Shirley Faye Schmeisser

September 13, 1938 - January 3, 2021

Mrs. Shirley Schmeisser of Trumann departed this life on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the family residence at the age of 82 years, 3 months and 21 days.    She was born Tuesday, September 13, 1938 in Marked Tree to the late Tilmon and Myrtle Hosford McCoy.  She was a 1957 graduate of Trumann High School, a retired sales person for Dillard’s and of the Baptist faith. Shirley loved to read, shop, decorate and her favorite thing was vacuuming,  She was preceded in death by 4 sisters, 1 brother and her parents.             Shirley is survived by one son,  Todd Qualls of Memphis, TN; one daughter, Donna Qualls Woody of Trumann; one niece, Martha Parker of Trumann; five grandchildren, Brandi Landry, Zachary Qualls, Evan Woody, Eric Woody and Emily Qualls; and 6 great-grandchildren, Shayden, Isabel, Callie, Vivien, River, Abigail, and one on the way Wilder.           A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.           Online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
