Margaret Cloie McFerrin Roach

Mrs. Margaret Cloie Roach of Trumann departed this life on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the family residence at the age of 93 years, 3 months and 13 days. She was born Friday, February 15, 1924 in Como, Miss., to the late William Wallace and Louisa Jane Tidwell McFerrin. Mrs. Roach lived in Trumann for the past 66 years and was formerly of Marked Tree, AR. She was a homemaker, loving mother and a member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Roach was preceded in death by her husband, Gay W. Roach, Sr.; her son-in-law, Charlie Parks; eight brothers and her parents. She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Roach Parks and Nandra Roach both of Trumann; three sons, Gary Roach of Little Rock, Ark., Gay W. Roach, Jr. and wife Kathy and Mike Roach, Sr. both of Trumann; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 30th from 5 PM to 6 PM at the First Baptist Church, 1301 Highway 69, Trumann, Ark. Funeral will follow at 6 PM with Rev. John Maley officiating. Graveside service will be Wednesday morning at 10 AM at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O.
