Janane Crossno Kidd of Jonesboro departed this life on Monday, May 17, 2021 at the family residence at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 21 days.  She was born Sunday, January 26, 1941 in Trumann to the late Jathen Ray and Sylvia Crossno.  Janane met and married her husband Ray of 60 years working at Walgreens in Memphis, TN.  They traveled around the U.S. together while working for Walgreens.  After retiring in 1979 and settling in New Orleans, they decided to move back home to Jonesboro in 1981 where they opened Rays Antique Shop.  Janane was always by Ray’s side working and helping in his every day work life.  She was a housewife that loved to cook and care for her family from babysitting to offering encouragement to all family members.  She was very loved and will be greatly missed.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe David and Edwin Ray Crossno; grandparents, Ed and Adah Crossno; and her parents.                                     She is survived by her husband, Ray Kidd of the home; two sons, Adam Kidd of Jonesboro and Mark Kidd of Texas; one niece Holly (Jeff) Crites of Bay; two great-nieces, Allison (Anthony) Long-Martin and Christa Arnold both of Jonesboro; two great-great-nephews, Tony and Hudson Martin and one great-great-niece, Libbey Martin.       The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A Celebration of life will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Markley and Diane Wimberley  officiating.  Committal service will be Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Finch Cemetery in Paragould, AR.       In compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is required, a Covid-19 acknowledgement form is required to be signed and social distancing will be observed.        An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
