Michael Ray StottsOctober 13, 1952 - June 11, 2021 Michael Ray Stotts of Trumann passed away June 11, 2021 after a lengthy stubborn denial that anything (cancer) was wrong with him at the age of 68 years, 7 months and 29 days. Mike was born Monday, October 13, 1952 to Fred and Lillian Stotts of Trumann. After graduating Trumann High School in 1970 and serving in the National Guard, he then set out to find his fortune. Mike owned a successful concrete ornament and Mexican import business, he sold satellite TV systems when the dishes were 10 feet tall and had customers who loved him in a 3 state area. Mike was quite the character known for his penny pinching and his devotion to his family and friends. He demonstrated his special bond with his best friend, his mother, by providing care for her for many years before her passing. Up until the time of his death, Mike opened his small country store every day so he could hang out with his friends and charge them for their snacks! He was a devoted Razorback, and St. Louis Cardinal fan. He will be greatly missed. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Melton Stotts and Lillian LaFarlett Stotts George and his brother, Paul Wayne Stotts. He is survived by his sister, Janice Mitchusson, his nieces, Beth Hervey and Audra Hervey and nephews, Robert Hervey, Jon Stotts; Brother-In-Law, Bob Hervey; special friend, Barbara Roark and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday June 15th from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Darrel Miller and Rev. Kenny Guy McMahan officiating. Burial will be private at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark.
