Mr. Osee William Nunnally, Jr., went to be with the Lord June 30, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 68 years, 7 months and 6 days.  He was a loving husband, dad, gramps, brother, and friend.  He adored his wife, girls, sons-in-law, grandkids and great grandson.  Osee was born Monday, November 24, 1952 to Osee Sr. and Mary Sue Smithson Nunnally in Jonesboro.  He worked for the Coca Cola Company for over 20 years, then he worked for Tom’s and Lance for many years.         He was a hunter and fisherman.  He loved taking his grandkids hunting and fishing.  They will cherish their fond memories of their time with him.  He always put a smile on their faces.  Osee wasn’t afraid to die, he had made peace with where he was going.  But he didn’t want to leave his beloved family.  He will be missed.  As you left Osee after a visit he would always say “call if you need me” and he meant it.  Those words we will hear no more but they will always be remembered.  He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Jay and Ella Smithson and George and Ada Nunnally; one sister, Patsy Williams and one brother, Osee Lee Nunnally.       He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandy Robertson Nunnally; two daughters, Christy (Greg) Whitlock of Trumann and Misty (Donnie) Lee of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Tiffany (Brett) Difani, Matthew (Megan) Whitlock and Dylan Matney; one brother, George (Beth) Nunnally of Bentonville; six sisters, Brenda (Jackie) Moon of Bay, Betty Nunnally Kendrick of Trumann, JoAnn (Roy) Xanders of Jonesboro, Diann (Jimmy) Moss of Trumann, Shirley Hogan of Louisiana, and Elaine Nunnally of Memphis; one uncle James Smithson of Olive Branch; great-grandkids, Braxton Difani, and one on the way Beckham Difani (due in November); and also a special bonus daughter Starla Toddy. The family will receive friends Friday, July 2, 2021 from 5-7 at Thompson Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Michael Jernigan, Rev. John Honeycutt, and Rev. Gary Barker. officiating.   Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR.                                                              Honored to serve as pallbearers are his great nephews, Jackson Hendrix, Cody Hendrix, Garrett Winchester, Trey Nunnally, Grant Nunnally, William Nunnally, and Drake Richie.          In compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is optional and social distancing will be observed.       An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
