Melissa Marshall

Melissa “Lisa” Ann Marshall of Trumann departed this life on Monday, July 5, 2021 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 52 Years, 2 Months and 7 Days.  She was born Tuesday, April 29, 1969 in Memphis, TN to the late Benjamin and Dorothy Bratton Woods and lived in Trumann most of her lifetime.  She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.  She was preceded in death by one son, Jeremy Marshall; one brother, Benjamin Woods; and her parents.       She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Mike Marshall of the home; one daughter, Jessica (Abraham May) Marshall; one son, Michael Marshall of Trumann; one sister, Penny Manes of Jonesboro; one granddaughter, Izabella May; one grandson, Eli May.       The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A Celebration of life will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Constant officiating.  Burial will follow in  Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg, AR.      Pallbearers will be Michael Marshall, Abraham May, Gregory Manes, Ricky Morelock, Wayne Marshall and Troy Helms.  Honorary pallbearers are Hershel Wilson, Larry Mangrum, Scott Mangrum, and Jeremy Williams.         In compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is optional, and social distancing will be observed.       The family request financial assistance with the funeral and donations can be made at FundAFamily at Thompson Funeral Home web site www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.      An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
