Eric Lee Campbell

May 9, 1977 - August 8, 2021

Eric Lee Campbell departed this life on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 44 years, 2 months and 30 days.  He was born  in Frostproof, FL and lived most of his lifetime in Trumann.  Eric was a truck driver for Gateway Tires and he loved to fish, hunt, weld and was a big time joker.  He was preceded in death by grandfather, A.C. Wilson and his parents, Ronnie Lee and Celia Wilson Campbell.      He is survived by one son, Zak Campbell of Trumann; one daughter, Abby Griffin of Black Rock, AR; two brothers, Ernest Campbell and Luke Wilson both of Trumann; his granny, Louise Wilson and other family and friends.      Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel with Ralph Guthrie officiating.  Burial will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg, AR.      Pallbearers will be Clay Jackson, Chris Hatcher, Jacob Chambers, Tyler Guthrie, Jeremy Correa, and David Smith..      In compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is optional and social distancing will be observed.       An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
