Gregg Anderson

William Gregg Anderson, 63, of Trumann died Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. He was born in Lepanto, Arkansas and had lived in Trumann for 48 years moving from Marietta, Georgia. He was a retired factory worker from Ringier America and of the Baptist faith. His favorite hobbies was anything working with his hands like building birdhouses, model planes favoring anything military, fishing, reading and watching old AMC movies. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Anderson; one brother, Chris Anderson and was the son of the late Harold G. and F. Joann Wright Anderson. Gregg is survived by one son, Adam (Nikki) Anderson of Jonesboro; sister, Laurie (Bobby) Hightower of Trumann, AR. and one grandson, Luke Green Visitation will be Monday afternoon from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. Celebration of life service will be Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Ralph Guthrie and Alan McClung officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Aaron Robinson, Bobby Hightower, In compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is optional, a Covid-19 acknowledgement form is required to be signed and social distancing will be observed.
